Experimenting with a transparent palette

This is a good book. All about working with the most transparent watercolors. Today I tried making all my browns from a yellow, a red and a green.

Sketch of Chris. All browns made primarily from Aureolin Yellow, Alizarin Crimson, Transparent Red Oxide and Viridian Green. The darkest shades are a mixture of Alizarin Crimson, Phalo Green and Aureolin Yellow.
